What we collect
- Your sign-in: your ORCID iD and the name on your ORCID record, plus the email address you confirm here.
- Abstracts: what you submit, including co-authors and their contact details.
- Scholarship applications: your answers, which can include your career stage, financial need, travel plans, visa status, and anything else you choose to tell us.
- Reviews: scores and comments from reviewers.
We don't use tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies. Cookies are used only to sign you in and keep you signed in.
Who sees it
- Abstracts are seen by the reviewers assigned to them and the program chairs. Accepted abstracts are published in the conference program.
- Scholarship applications are seen only by the scholarship committee. What you tell us about funding and visas is never published.
- If you're awarded a scholarship and agreed to it on the form, we publish your name, affiliation, and bio on the conference website.
- Reviewers' names are never shown to authors or applicants.
We don't sell your information or use it for anything except running the conference.
Where it's kept
ConfHub runs on Cloudflare, which stores the site's data and files. Email goes out through Resend. Sign-in goes through ORCID, which tells us only your iD and name. The site's typeface loads from Google Fonts.
How long we keep it
We delete scholarship applications and reviews one year after the conference. We keep a record of who received an award, and how much, for grant reporting. Abstracts that weren't accepted are deleted on the same schedule; accepted ones stay part of the conference record.
Your choices
You can see and edit your own submissions and application here, and withdraw them before the deadline. To get a copy of what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, contact the conference organizers.
